Travel Logs
Travelers have often felt compelled to give account of their journeys. Historically, it is a rich tradition that often tells us just as much about the traveller as the foreign lands traversed. On a more personal level, that recounting can be of benefit to both the speaker – congealing memories and validating experiences – and the sometimes curious (but almost always patient) listener.
So, please indulge me in this a modest archive of some of the images from my own travels from 2007 to 2013.

California Coast
Photographs taken on an exploratory journey of California in anticipation of relocation. We kept to the coast, traveling north from Los Angeles to Fort Bragg, then retracing our steps back to the Bay Area. September 2012.
English Tour
In conjunction with a very special cataloging job, I was flown to England for research. The work was based in Lewes, though we took a side trip to Brighton. From there, I took the train to Oxford and London before reluctantly returning stateside. April 2009.
Paris
An unexpected Spring Break detour and my first time on European soil. The weather was damp. The food and wine beautiful. We walked and walked until our feet bled. March 2007.
